Spelunkers may be interested in the Kartchner Caverns, a series of show caves only about an hour away off Route 90, just south of Benson.

Softball, soccer, golf, and tennis are popular, with lots of local fields, courts, or courses (whichever applies). Tucson has lots of bicycling space, and is rated as a bike-friendly city.
